The Chemistry Laboratory of St. Paul’s International School is a spacious, well-ventilated, and fully equipped facility developed in accordance with CBSE norms and safety standards. The lab provides students from Classes VI to XII with practical exposure to chemical science, enabling them to understand concepts through experimentation and observation.
The laboratory is equipped with modern apparatus, glassware, chemical reagents, and demonstration models to conduct experiments in physical, organic, and inorganic chemistry. Under the supervision of qualified teachers and trained lab assistants, students perform experiments related to acids, bases, salts, reactions, separation techniques, and laboratory analysis in a controlled and safe environment.
The Chemistry Lab includes:
Standard laboratory glassware and chemical reagents
Heating devices and experimental kits
Fume exhaust and proper ventilation system
Chemical storage units with safety labeling
Fire extinguisher, first-aid kit, and safety charts
Special importance is given to laboratory safety, cleanliness, and discipline. Students are trained to follow lab rules, use protective measures, and handle chemicals responsibly.
Regular practical sessions, project work, and demonstrations help students develop analytical skills, accuracy, and scientific attitude, preparing them for higher studies in medicine, engineering, pharmacy, and pure sciences.
