The Physics Laboratory of St. Paul’s International School is a well-equipped and modern facility designed in accordance with CBSE guidelines to provide students with practical and experimental learning in the field of physical sciences. The lab serves students from Classes VI to XII, helping them connect theoretical concepts with real-life applications.
The laboratory is furnished with a wide range of instruments and apparatus to conduct experiments in mechanics, optics, electricity, magnetism, sound, and heat. Under the guidance of experienced faculty, students perform experiments safely and systematically, developing skills in observation, measurement, and analysis.
The Physics Lab includes:
Electrical and electronic experiment kits
Optical instruments such as prisms, lenses, and spectrometers
Measuring devices like vernier calipers and screw gauges
Models and charts for conceptual understanding
Power supply units and safety equipment
Strict emphasis is laid on safety procedures and discipline. Students are trained to handle equipment carefully, follow laboratory rules, and maintain cleanliness and order.
Through regular practical classes and demonstrations, the Physics Laboratory nurtures scientific curiosity, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills, and prepares students for higher education in engineering, technology, and pure sciences.
